We started with a desire to replace an aging oven, which quickly expanded to a new kitchen and bathroom. Having seen some results of Matt's previous work, we sought his assistance. His creative vision inspired us to transform our ordinary workers cottage into an architectural masterpiece, albeit on a modest scale. Matt was able to listen to our ideas and needs, and translate them into something practical and affordable. We now have a home that we are living in with renewed enjoyment. The whole process was well managed, timely and, most importantly, a lot of fun!

Matt designed and project managed the build of our house on the south-west coast of WA over three years ago now. Having lived in it for a good length of time it has been well tested for liveability and we are extremely happy with the outcome. Its beautiful spaces and materials make our home a joy to live in. Importantly, it is also very functional in terms of both the overall layout of internal spaces as well as the detail within these spaces.All aspects of our design brief were more than met including: passive solar features to ensure a warm cosy house in the cold winter months; no large scars from cut-and-fill across the sloping site; a home to harmonise with the garden design and in turn blend comfortably with the adjacent national park; and views to the ocean.Professionally Matt was a delight to work with, being respectful and responsive to our requirements. He made the process both interesting and enjoyable.

We were so pleased to engage Matt to design and manage the renovation of our home - the lower of two apartments. We needed to improve light, to make use of space with limited function and to bring a fresh look to an apartment that been part of three previous renovations.
